The Scottish Archery Association Coaching Group is part of the Scottish Archery Association and of the Grand National Archery Society Coaching Organisation. We provide coaching for archers at every level within the SAA as well as a training and development structure for archery coaches. We also provide training in teaching archery for those outwith the sport through the "Community Sport Leader Award

The Scottish Archery Association has been able to secure the services of Coach KIM Hyung Tak from Korea to give a workshop for Coaches, on the weekend after his appearance at the GNAS Coaching Conference. See www.archeryschool.com/introduce.htm for further details about Coach KIM. Those people who have seen Coach KIM in action are full of praise for his delivery and his Coaching talents.

Lecture sessions will be held in one of the lecture rooms, and there will be the opportunity to shoot in the main hall, or watch Coach Kim deliver practical Coaching sessions.

Conference Costs are £90.00

There are 60 places available for this Conference.

Places will be made available according to the following priorities :

1. Scottish Coaches / Members of the Scottish Squad
2. SAA members
3. Coaches/archers from outwith Scotland.

Child Protection Course

The SAA coaching organisation is intending to organise an updated Child protection course in conjunction with Sport Scotland. This course is a requirement for your licence renewal.
